Gardening is a way of life for many of the Leisure Villagers. Large plots of land are provided, free of charge,  within the newly fenced land near the lake. Prior to the installation of the chain-link fencing, the area was also known as the "deer feeding grounds".

Vegetables, flowers, and plants of all varieties are grown at Leisure Village.  The new plantings are given an excellent head start in the chilly Spring months by the use of the large heated hot house.

Each and every aspect of gardening is available to our homeowners. A three foot section of land, that surrounds most of the lovely residences, is put to good use by some owners who prefer to tend the plants closer to home.
