Twelve acre Leisure Lake is the primary draw for our fishermen and fisherwomen.

Nearly every day, weather permitting, Leisure Villagers are catching largemouth black bass, pan fish and the occasional large catfish from the waters. Located close to the Illinois Chain O' Lakes's Grass Lake, the smaller fishing pond is upstream of Leisure Village's larger body of water. Both lakes contain fish, but the bigger body of water normally holds the larger species.

Gazebos ( one on each lake ) provide seating, shade and a backdrop of beauty. Two rowboats may be used by residents without charge on the larger lake. While motors are not permitted, a quiet drift or row down the shoreline can bring in a tasty meal or just plain fun!

A dozen or more fish hiding places were added in 2006 to give the smaller fish more time and opportunity to turn into bigger fish...
