Movie night at Leisure Village is held on the first and third Saturday evenings of each month.
The free movies vary from holiday fare ( Christmas; 4th of July; etc. ) to recently released DVDs. A large, mini-theatre-sized movie screen descends from the Leisure Hall ceiling. Viewing is powered by a state-of-the-art automatic projector.
Residents often bring their own treats, but popcorn is made free in the new popcorn machine. Candy and drinks are popular fare, also.
There is no longer any need for an expensive movie night out if you do not need to see the first releases immediately .
